"My daughter had different insurance companies for auto, home insurance policy, I suggest to her to shop for insurance company that had multi-policy discount, Geico on Homeowners use a different company, I spoke with Ifeoma Ngwu with the State Farm agency that stated she could place the homeowners directly into State Farm with the auto insurance and saved my daughter hundred's of dollars. As a retired Hall of Fame Allstate Agent I appreciate the great job Ifeoma did and her communication with both my daughter and I."

"In January we decided to switch Homeowner's Insurance carriers for a lower rate. Camila provided a decent quote so we decided to make the switch to State Farm. On January 30th Camila emailed us the Binder of Insurance and told it was "effective today." She also instructed us to go ahead and cancel our policy with our current carrier, so a few days later I did exactly that. Then on February 13th Camila contacted us to let us know that our State Farm coverage was being canceled on March 18th due to the age of our roof. We were never told that the State Farm policy was conditional or temporary is any way or that final underwriting approval had not actually been obtained. This caused us to be completely without homeowner's insurance for a little over a month until we could get our roof replaced and shop for a new carrier. Our biggest question/concern - why would State Farm tell us to cancel our current coverage before the underwriting process had completely finished? We were very interested to know if this was Camila's mistake or was this State Farm's general business practice. We asked her manager, Shirin, to contact us to discuss but she never reached out. So we do not have an answer to that question. So our best advice would be to stay away from State Farm."

Regarding your question about whether this was a mistake or general practice, we take your concerns seriously and have reviewed how this happened and have made sure to update our office processes to make sure this doesn't happen again. "This is my fifth review, and I want to clarify that I did not “harass” this office — I was seeking guidance and honesty, which any reputable company should provide. Yes, I did raise my voice, but only after multiple phone calls where no one took accountability or made a meaningful effort to resolve the issue, even after I provided proof. It seems the focus has been on portraying me as unreasonable rather than addressing the situation itself. In reality, I am simply a customer upset by how this was handled. Fortunately, State Farm reviewed the evidence and was able to backdate my coverage. That would not have happened if there had not been an error. They were also concerned about the conduct of Kim from this office, who refused to take responsibility and ended the call abruptly. (Calls are recorded, and they reviewed it.) At this point, I am done pursuing the matter. I am sharing this so that anyone considering this office can make an informed decision before signing up with a business that, in my experience, does not take accountability and only responds publicly in a way that protects its image. *************** Honey, no — they asked for a letter from you so the manager wouldn’t have to get involved. But after they saw that Kim was **not** willing to help, and I explained that you refused to call back to handle this over the phone, they had no choice but to open an investigation to determine where the mistake was made. In all my years of dealing with companies, this is the first time I’ve seen someone ignore clear evidence right in front of them. I did file a verbal complaint last week. The coverage was added **after** I left your office. At this point, I’m not looking for anything else from you — I just want to be clear that everything you are saying is false. I truly wish you well, and I don’t mean to come across as unreasonable, but this entire situation has been genuinely mind-boggling."
"In the 25 years of working with State Farm I've never had anyone leave me negative google reviews from different accounts. I'm at loss as how to respond in a kind way that is more clear and helpful. I do feel like I have to keep defending myself and my office because we didn't do anything wrong. You and I both know that if State Farm agreed that my team had missed something or done something wrong, they would have fixed it already without any documentation required. "Ifeoma was amazing. Ifeoma helped me with a quote on my auto insurance. I had been with Geico for 4 years. I had called to see if I could get a better deal on my policy. The quote that we went over was a lot better than Geico. I was paying close to $500 for minimum coverage and the new policy is for $260 with max coverage. I signed immediately and canceled Geico. It was very easy to get the quote and it was an easy decision to make the switch over to State Farm. Ifeoma was great and helped me out so much."

Using a different google account isn't going to change the fact that we've tried to explain in multiple occasions that there is more coverage now than what you had before you transferred to my office. "I am requesting a written letter confirming that the deductible and rental coverage were removed from my insurance policy without my authorization. I have documentation showing that my policy previously included these coverages before it was transferred to this agency. Despite raising this issue multiple times. The claims department has indicated that they will backdate the correction once they receive written confirmation from the agency. Therefore, all I need is a letter stating that the deductible and rental coverage were removed from my policy without my permission. This office keeps telling me to work with my current agent, but my current agent hasn’t made any mistakes. Unfortunately I have to resort to google reviews because that’s the only time I can get a response from shirn *****UPDATE***** I will be posting proof that the coverages were **not** added, and I also have access to the declarations confirming that. All I asked from your office was accountability. At this point, all I need is a letter stating that your office made an error in processing the coverage. That would resolve this situation immediately. Instead, I’m being told that you would provide it “if you could,” but I’m telling you that you **can**. A simple written statement acknowledging the mistake would clear this entire matter up. I’m not asking for anything beyond that—just accountability for what happened."

"Unfortunately, I’ve been dealing with problem after problem with this insurance office and it’s been extremely frustrating. When I transferred my plates from New York to Florida, I made it very clear that I did **not** want to switch unless my policy stayed the same. I was promised everything would remain the same, including the coverage and the price. After everything was done, my bill randomly went up $20 with no notice. When I called, I was basically told “it is what it is” and that someone would call me back. I never got a call, but I let it go because it was only $20. Then I found out my mom’s license was going to be suspended because there was a lapse in insurance. Nobody told me the New York insurance had to stay active until the plates were returned. It took three days just to get someone on the phone, and when I finally did, I was told there was nothing they could do. Now my mom got into an accident and we found out the policy wasn’t even transferred correctly. We’ve had a $250 deductible and rental coverage for 30 years, and now it’s suddenly a $500 deductible with no rental. If they couldn’t match what we had, they should have told me before making the changes. I tried speaking to a manager and just got passed around with no real answers. I’m still waiting on a call back. Just be careful dealing with this office. Everything sounds good until there’s a problem, and then nobody wants to help. ****************FOLLOW UP******************* After over 30 years of making payments, this is a very disappointing response—especially from an owner. This is the only response I have received from you after a week of trying to reach out. It feels like you only responded publicly to make yourself look good, rather than to actually help resolve the issue. It’s extremely unfortunate that your employee didn’t copy and transfer my policy the way I requested, because I wouldn’t be in this situation if it had been done correctly. As an owner, you are not taking accountability. You may be right that it is ultimately the vehicle owner’s responsibility to know that the plates were supposed to remain insured until they were returned to the DMV, as another office informed me after the damage had already been done. However, as my insurance company, I look to you for guidance and knowledge. I’m glad I was able to find that at another office in just two phone calls. If you are reading this review, I recommend going to Bart Blessing’s office. Michael is very knowledgeable and helpful."

We tried our best to be clear and I'm sorry it wasn't what you wanted to hear. I'm really sorry that you are upset and disappointed, but I am happy to hear that you were able to stay with State Farm.
